Artisan and Crafter Exposition

General Information

The Artisan and Crafter Exposition will be family friendly annual ticketed event held in the International Cultural Center Exhibition Center. Get more information on the Exhibition Center here. It will feature booth spaces of artisans and crafters displaying crafts, art and wares which will be for sale. There will be a special section for children that will offer supervised simple craft building and art creation opportunities. Children will be shown how to create the items and they will get to keep what they make for free. Children spaces and materials will be limited and a parent/guardian waiver will be required for children to participate. There will also be booths offering food and drinks, and crafter and artisan adjacent businesses and organizations offering information, selling products, and memberships. It will be a week long event held during the summer months to maximize the opportunity for family attendance.

Detailed Information

The Artisan and Crafter Exhibition will be hosted by and benefit the Appalachian Live Crafters’ and Artisans’ Mall. Get more information on the mall here. The Appalachian Crafters’ and Artisans’ Association will be closely involved with the event and qualifying members of it will be able to have booth space at no cost. Get more information on the association here. Vendor booth spaces will be 10′ x 10′ & 20′ x 20′, will be limited and final approval for vendor participation will be given by the Director of the Appalachian Live Crafters’ and Artisans’ Mall. It will have dedicated pages for it on the Appalachian Live Crafters’ and Artisans’ Mall and the Appalachian Crafters’ and Artisans’ Association websites that will display event details, vendors information, and offer tickets sales and vendor signups.

The final detailed information for the Artisan and Crafter Exhibition including public ticket costs and vendor participation fees are being researched now and will be set by the Director of the Appalachian Live Crafters’ and Artisans’ Mall, the Appalachian Crafters’ and Artisans’ Association President, the Institute for Natural Philosophy Director of Operations and Director of Public Relations. An announcement post will be made once the details are set. The Institute for Natural Philosophy will own and operate it as a doing business as registration.
