Steering Committees
Libraries, Museums, and Educational Centers Oversight Committee
This is a private committee consisting of the Institute for Natural Philosophy President and the Directors of Public Relations, Cultural Preservation, and Operations. It is involved in research for formation, development and legalities for all libraries, museums, and educational centers.

All public committees are open to join for individuals that meet any specifications if listed and are committed to the purpose. Committee membership approval is granted by the Knoxville Global Heritage Initiative Project Manager and/or the actual committee Co-chairs. All terms are for one year at which time the position can be renewed.
Individual announcement posts will be made as Co-chair positions are filled. Committee members will be listed here as they join.
All public committee positions are volunteer with the exception of Steve Wilbur who is filling his committee roles as an administrator for the Institute for Natural Philosophy.

The Specific Focus Public Steering Committees:
International Indigenous Peoples & Tribes Annual Exposition Committee
This committee is exclusively dedicated to providing support, guidance, logistics, and organizational efforts the International Indigenous Peoples & Tribes Annual Exposition. It is open to the public to join that wish to support the effort. It reports directly to the top administrator of the International Indigenous Peoples and Tribes Cultural Center with oversight provided by the International Council of Indigenous Peoples and Tribes.
Co-chairs: TDB, One Co-chair is automatically filled by a top administrator of the International Indigenous Peoples and Tribes Cultural Center.

Indigenous Advisory Committee
This committee is exclusively dedicated to providing support and guidance for all projects that include Indigenous aspects, materials, peoples & tribes. It is open for members of the public to join that are either: Indigenous, representatives from Indigenous groups or tribes, educators with an Indigenous studies background and/or individuals dedicated to Indigenous preservation. It reports directly to a top administrator of the International Indigenous Peoples and Tribes Cultural Center and works within all aspects of the Knoxville Global Heritage Initiative as related to Indigenous related materials, displays and programs.

Artisan and Crafter Exposition Committee
This committee is exclusively dedicated to providing support, guidance and all organizational efforts for the Artisan and Crafter Exposition. It is open for members of the public to join that wish to support the effort. The committee reports directly to the Director of the Appalachian Live Crafter’s Mall with oversight provided by the Institute for Natural Philosophy Directors of Public Relations and Operations.
Co-chairs: TDB, One Co-chair is automatically filled by the Director of the Appalachian Live Crafters’ and Artisans’ Mall.

Public Standing Advisory Boards

Each Standing Advisory Board is exclusively dedicated to the project in its name.
All Standing Advisory Boards are open to join for unrelated individuals that are dedicated to the associated project and either possess skills, knowledge and/or abilities that will benefit the project. All terms are for one year at which time the position can be renewed. Standing Advisory Board membership approval is granted by the Knoxville Global Heritage Initiative Project Manager and/or the actual Standing Advisory Board President. Standing Advisory Board President positions approval is granted by a vote of the Institute for Natural Philosophy board, involves a background check, and automatically places them during their term as a voting member of the Institute for Natural Philosophy regular board. Former Presidents have the option of remaining on the Institute for Natural Philosophy as an Emeritus Board Member.

Administrators & Management
All major aspects of the Knoxville Global Heritage Initiative have director or general manager positions that will be the top administrator of each separate operation. The directors/general managers will oversee all aspects of their respective operation and report directly to the Institute for Natural Philosophy administrative President and board. Qualified individuals are welcome to apply for any open positions. All administrator positions work closely with the Institute for Natural Philosophy Directors of Public Relations, Operations, and Finance as well as other key individuals, committees, and boards. There are also professional management positions dedicated to one or more specific areas that report directly to the directors. Additional floor staff and event workers for all areas will be filled from volunteers, specific work programs via partnerships, and will be hired as needed to maintain operations close to opening. Applications are being taken now for all positions. You can apply directly for most positions using the link at the top of this post. Positions will be tentatively filled before any of operations begin with the official starting dates coinciding with the prelaunch activities of each related project.
