The Knoxville Global Heritage Initiative was orchestrated, is presented and operated by the Institute for Natural Philosophy, a Tennessee state registered nonprofit corporation and a registered 501(c)(3) organization with the IRS. The effort is being operated under the doing business as registered tradename of Knoxville Global Heritage Initiative. The Knoxville Global Heritage Initiative project manager is Tennessee resident, Institution for Natural Philosophy founding trustee and board member Steve Wilbur. All efforts are funneled through three main committees, each having specific purposes with additional guidance, support, and promotion coming from multiple Standing Advisory Boards and additional committees.
The Knoxville Global Heritage Initiative is a multifaceted effort that includes many distinct projects that ultimately work together to further their independent missions. Many of these missions include specific programs and mechanisms that will directly benefit the local community with a special focus on minors by supporting and/or providing educational opportunities and job skills training, and donating to local outreach organizations.
Detailed information about the Institute for Natural Philosophy, the Knoxville Global Heritage Initiative individual aspects and its key members can be found as separate posts in our blog. The initiative includes the creation of two new physical locations, multiple entities, and annual events to be located in the Knoxville Tennessee USA area and include:
The International Indigenous Peoples and Tribes Cultural Center will include an international library, an international museum and an educational center that will host recurring and onetime events, workshops and classes dedicated exclusively to international Indigenous peoples and tribes. (Location to be determined.)

It will consist exclusively of Indigenous tribes and members from throughout the world. It will be a stand-alone 501(c)(3) organization.
The Institute for Natural Philosophy is undertaking all these efforts of the Knoxville Global Heritage Initiative independently and will provide all the required funding from grants, public and private donors and sponsors. The ultimate success of these efforts will be ensured by both public support and involvement. There are many different ways to get involved: providing general support, volunteering, donating both materially and financially, and applying for paid positions. Links for all involvement types are available on the Informational Links blog page where you will also find a link to our Privacy Policy.
The Institute for Natural Philosophy is proud to be based in the great State of Tennessee, USA and is excited to establish these permanent attractions, events and organizations in the Knoxville, Tennessee USA area.
The projects included in the Knoxville Global Heritage Initiative will be of direct benefit to the City of Knoxville, Knox and the surrounding counties, and the great State of Tennessee. They will provide opportunities on many levels for Tennesseans while also creating both a regional and national draw to the area from visitors to the International Cultural Centers and the annual public events.
We will be working with the public, government officials, businesses and organizations to bring all the Knoxville Global Heritage Initiative efforts to fruition.
